K301 – NEW REVISED - TUBE BASED STEREO RIAA PRE-AMPLIFIER
The amplification stages in this kit are identical, but it employs a simple series regulated and highly filtered power supply. The power supply part of the PCB can be snapped off and mounted remote from the pre-amp to reduce noise. It can be powered from a local Mains 50-60HZ outlet with an output voltage of 100-120V or 200-240V.  Many persons were not happy with a SMPS supply being used in the original K282, so we redesigned it, and produced this new kit, K301.

This low cost tube pre-amplifier with RIAA compensation amplifies the output of a magnetic cartridge, to a Line Level required by power amplifiers etc. It is based on four low power consumption Raytheon JAN6418.
